All About Our Prints & Frames

Fine Art Framed Prints

Our frames are crafted and assembled to order. Instead of selling prints and frames separately, we price them together. Why? After 30 years in business, I have yet to sell a fine art print without a frame. That way, when it arrives it can go straight to the wall for your enjoyment!

Our Frame Mouldings

Another simplification that I’ve done on this site, is making standard the frames that we sell 99% of the time. When I had the bricks and mortar gallery some years ago, we had close to one thousand frame samples. Guess how many different ones we sold? The most we ever counted in a year was twelve. And, most of the ones not shown here were put on portraits, not landscape photographs.

Custom Options

We still have access to thousands of frame choices and if you have a special need I will be happy to work with you like any other custom frame shop, only you don’t have to leave the comfort of your home. Simply let me know what you are thinking and I will work up several ideas and email them to you so that you can make your final choice. Ah, how simple can it be? Of course, if you are in the Charleston, West Virginia area you can come by to meet in person and work out the details. Either way, it’s all guaranteed! If you would like to see other options please contact me here.

Quality Archival Materials

Our prints are made on archival printers with pigment ink sets for longevity,  vibrant color, and tone. Unless you display your art in direct sunlight they will outlast both of us!

We use only acid-free mat board and foam board in our framing. No cheap acid-breathing materials are hidden inside to slowly destroy your investment. Medium to large prints is dry-mounted to stay flat. And finally, our Tru-Vue Conservation Clear Acrylic or Conservation Clear glazing effectively blocks 99% of UV rays from damaging your art while transmitting 92% of the light.

Why Use Tru-Vue Conservation Clear Acrylic?

Well, two reasons. One it doesn’t break in transit, which is obviously important to us shipping work across the country, and to you when you move. Two, acrylic glass has come a long way since the old days when I personally wouldn’t have used it. Today, Tru-Vue Conservation Clear Acrylic is an industry-standard and provides the highest possible protection for your valued artwork. If you prefer Conservation Clear or Gallery glass simply let me know.

Last But Not Least, our crew of industry professionals assemble the final product to perfection and pack your finished art for safe shipment to you!
